support Ubuntu 12.04, it was released today and the executable provided doesn't work.
The provided executable doesn't work and the link to the bug tracker gives an error User not valid: Brad Barrows. So evidently something isn't properly configured behind the scenes.

As a content use gaming streams
As regame.tv - they use wowza servers, own3d.tv - uses own servers. But with bittorrent live there will be no need in real servers or clouds of them, just live client and go on. So, i suggest to contact with popular gaming streaming resources.

Let me stream my content as Ustream, TwitchTV, Own3D, Justin.TV, etc
Every time someone needs to stream a content without having to pay a lot of money, the servers overload. P2P should do the work, and the more people seeing people streams live, the better the conection would be, instead of freezing video. Good for gaming, where some Grand Finals got cut in the most interesting part because of spikes caused by the overload of spectators. I think this would be the idea of BitTorrent Live, but how can I start a streaming there? Am I losing something?

I notice that when firewall is blocking video stutters If I configure firewall to open port video streams good.
ports must be open to allow smooth streaming, this requires port forwarding. S.T.U.N. does not always work. I hope Mr Cohen programming can transverse both NAT and FIREWALLS.

For Ubuntu, use the official tracker from http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/alternative-download#bt ; avoid fakes.

If these videos are streamed live, and I want to watch later, I should be able to record and playback at anytime

./BTLive: No such file or directory
When unpacking the .tar.gz, there is only 1 file in it: BTLive.
When trying to execute this file, it just says: ./BTLive: No such file or directory
When trying to run it via bash / sh: ./BTLive: No such file or directory

Support Mac OS X 10.6 32-bit
The miniupnpc egg used by BTLive.app is not universal in any way, it only has x86-64 code. Thus BTLive crashes immediately on startup on 32-bit Mac OS X machines.

How about a trackerless system?
Any film producer wants pay for view and a private network, trackerless should accomplish that. I would hate to have to depend on your keeping the tracking server always on, look what happened to peercast, When Giles shut down the site peercast clients also quit working!

make an audio-only stream available
for most of the music events just listening in the background is so nice, but the video stream takes up much bandwith and many might not even look at the video...

Uninstaller neds to be fixed. Can't remove the plugin once it's installed.
Trying to uninstall the BTLive plugin from the control panel. A balloon tip comes up on the tray saying it's uninstalling, but nothing happens. Tray icon remains, even after a reboot.
